SCHOOLS AGAINST PARENTS

A mother of six visited a school library in Fairfax County and checked out a book called “All Boys Aren’t Blue,” by George M. Johnson, which depicts the author’s experience of sodomy and sexual assault by his older cousin.

The principal of the school had no problem with the book being available for children but said it was against the rules for parents to visit the library and check out books. Parent Stacy Langton said of the principal: “They DON’T want you to see what your children have access to at school.”
