Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich Losing Fans For Anti-Trump Comments

Hundreds of San Antonio Spurs fans have said that they won’t watch any more of the team’s games because head coach Gregg Popovich called President Trump a “soulless coward.”

It is a tough thing to have to experience, but it is not that much different than what the NFL has done recently.

Head coach and longtime basketball veteran Gregg Popovich has upset Spurs Nation for his increasingly political rhetoric. That’s at least according to fans, who say the coach is alienating a massive demographic with his liberal opinions.

These professional sports are really just entertainment, so the words that Popovich (and any others) utters, that goes against a person’s hard held beliefs, then you have lower ticket sales.
