TENNESSEE TO HOLD SCHOOLS ACCOUNTABLE

Gov. Bill Lee, R-TN, signed a bill last week that will create penalties for public schools that don’t follow Tennessee’s rules against biological males competing in girls’ sports.

The bill, set to take effect July 1, requires the state’s Department of Education to withhold funds from local school districts that do not protect female sports from male competitors.
