Texas House passes religious liberty bill amid LGBTQ Caucus’ objections
The crux of the issue: Religious Freedom vs homosexuality.
The Texas House passed a good yet watered down religious liberty bill Monday that LGBTQ advocates say they still fear “licensed discrimination” against their micro-community. The opposite is much more significant when those same anti-marriage people want licensed discrimination their way against all the many normal people and their deeply held religious beliefs. This has the makings of a long and looming civil war.
