There would be no San Antonio without Columbus’ discovery
SAFA hosted a Marriage Muster on Columbus Day to exercise our First Amendment Rights as the core principle of our nation based on life & liberty.
Christopher Columbus’ discovery of the new Americas opened the passageway for European Christian refugees desiring to flee government discrimination & persecution for their religious beliefs and other tyrannical ideas. There would be no San Antonio without Columbus’ discovery.
In 2015, the Bexar County Commissioners Court (BCCC) replaced Columbus Day with Indigenous Peoples Day. Not only was this a governmental act of religious discrimination but also a promotion of a neo paganism religion over the core fabric of Bexar County as it was founded under Christian Spanish law. This tyrannical move was also in accordance with the United Nation’s UNESCO World Heritage site approval of the Christian Missions as official World Heritage designated sites. Did the BCCC sell our souls for UN recognition of tourism? Read the resolution they agreed to and decide for yourself.
Then the San Antonio City Council passed an Indigenous Peoples Day resolution adding it to the official CoSA calendar for October 12 while respectfully keeping Columbus Day as the 2nd Monday under then Mayor Ivy Taylor. Note that on Oct. 12, 2015 the City Of SA celebrated both days as the City’s decisions had both celebrations fall on the same calendar day (the 2nd Monday) and would do so again on Oct. 12, 2020.
This was until just two weeks ago when current Mayor Ron Nirenberg proclaims Oct. 14, 2019 as IPD. This is not inclusive but was an exclusionary and discriminatory move that highlights pagan indigenous peoples and shreds the Christians’ City of Saint Anthony & Federal Holiday Columbus Day. This is amazing bias and religious persecution.
Government Mandates lead to more socialism like the CAAP, environmentalism, anti-life & anti-marriage progressiveness. More evidence of religious bigotry by CoSA and the banning of Chick-fil-A for the SAT Airport Concessions.
Stand for your rights today.
