A federal judge struck down the “transgender mandate” issued by the Obama administration that forced doctors to perform gender-transition surgeries upon request.

“Today marks a major victory for compassion, conscience, and sound medical judgment,” said Luke Goodrich of Becket, which represented plaintiffs in the suit.
