UNPRECEDENTED CRACKDOWN
Trudeau Announces Unprecedented Action, Freezing Bank Accounts of ‘Freedom Convoy’ Protestors

Chrystia Freeland, Canada’s finance minister, said that the new powers will allow banking institutions to cut supporters off from funding the demonstrators under “Canada’s anti-money laundering and terrorist financing rules.”
