Anything goes to raise money for the Zoo???

So the San Antonio Zoo is using Valentine’s Day to raise money for Zoo Animals while making fun of human breakups especially marriages.

Raising money for “loving” animals at the expense of undermining marriage might sound fun but when one considers the current attack on marriage and the contemporary attempts to undermine the covenantal bond makes it very distasteful.

It would be good for the SA Zoo to reconsider its marketing of this fundraiser and comparison to exes as cockroaches. It’s also a little dehumanizing.

While zoo animals are great, they can never have the dignity of a human being. Why would an organization try to tear humanity down to raise money?

Consider letting the SA Zoo know it would be good for them to build up marriage and family as that will naturally bring about more visitors (and money) to see its animals. They say “we’d love to hear from you”.
