Army Base Hosts Community Drag Event
Members of a U.S. Army base community in Germany will host a drag event for children on June 30.
The “family-friendly Pride event” promises to feature “Drag Story Time for all ages,” a “history of drag,” and a “discussion on theater inclusivity,” according to promotional materials.
News of the event comes less than a month after officials at a U.S. Air Force base canceled a children’s drag event amid a widespread public outcry.
