BIDEN PUSH FOR TRANS SURGERIES

The Biden administration is pushing insurers to cover transgender surgeries. A proposed rule, issued in January, would add “sexual orientation and gender identity” as protected classes that cannot be discriminated against in federally-funded healthcare facilities under the Affordable Care Act. The Ethics and Public Policy Center said the rule “places ideology ahead of sound medicine.”
