For the first time in more than a decade, Immigration and Customs Enforcement did not release its annual report in 2021, raising concerns from critics that the agency is trying to keep the public in the dark about the immigration crisis at the southern border.
“It’s absolutely shocking that the release of the ICE report hasn’t happened,” said former ICE Chief of Staff Jon Feere.
A current spokesperson for the agency said that a release date for the report has not been determined.
