CORPORATIONS FOR “EQUALITY” ACT

Over 400 American corporations have joined a business coalition in support of the Equality Act. The bill, if it became law would add sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes under federal civil rights law, like sex and race. But the legislation prevents individuals and groups from making religious freedom claims under the landmark Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
