Dems Gang Up On Pregnancy Centers
Seven Senate Democrats, led by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-MA, are pressing the country’s largest network of pregnancy resource centers to disclose what type of sensitive health information the organization gathers from its patients.
The Democrats claimed in a letter to Heartbeat International that they were “concerned” that the “false and misleading” tactics of its affiliates could expose women to prosecution under pro-life laws.
The move comes after Warren accused pro-life women’s care clinics of “torturing” women and called for a “crackdown” on them.
