Protecting, defending, and promoting the family, the Building Block of Society

News

KIDS. ELECTRONIC DEVICES. HARDCORE PORNOGRAPHY.

It’s a devastating problem, but one with a built-in solution. So let’s act now with the NCOSE.

CONSIDER contacting your Texas Legislators to #ProtectTexasChildren.

All too often when using mobile devices, children have easy access to hardcore pornographic vidoes

and explicit content that harms their brains and fuels addiction. This pornography can depict incest, racism, and extreme violence.

We must protect our children from this damaging XXX content — and we can.

Require Smart Phones and Tablets to Switch Pornography Filters ON Upon Activation

Virtually all devices have built-in filters to block pornography, but the filters are turned “OFF” when devices are activated. By mandating that cell phones and tablets default to safety upon activation, parents can more easily protect their children from destructive content.

LET’S ACT NOW: Pass a Device Filter Law in Texas

Manufacturers already have filtering capabilities and parental control software available on smart phones and tablets, but they are overly complicated and cumbersome for parents to navigate. A device filter law requires manufacturers to have filtering technology automatically turn “ON” when activated, instead of “OFF” as it is now.
