Male ‘Woman of the Year?’

The University of Pennsylvania has nominated “transgender” swimmer Lia Thomas, a biological male who identifies as a woman, for the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Woman of the Year award.

The award recognizes “female student-athletes who have exhausted their eligibility and distinguished themselves in their community, in athletics and in academics throughout their college careers.”

Thomas began competing in women’s sports in 2019 after ranking low among male swimmers.

Tennis Champ Blasts NCAA

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova, a nine-time singles Wimbledon champion, blasted the NCAA announcement that “transgender” swimmer Lia Thomas has been nominated by the University of Pennsylvania for a “Woman of the Year” award.

“Not enough fabulous biological women athletes, NCAA?!? What is wrong with you?!!!!!!!?” Navratilova tweeted.
