San Antonio Abortion Clinic Closing

Relocating to New Mexico

SAFA led a 16 month direct battle against the City of San Antonio and the local abortion industry, including Alamo Womens Reproductive Center and Planned Parenthood South Texas in 2015.

Allan Braid’s AWRC was started at 7204 John Smith Road with a $3,000,000 loan from Plains Capital Bank. SAFA educated and exposed Allan Braid and many of his blood money vendors including his bank and concrete suppliers with help of many volunteers.

Now the abortionist Braid is fleeing Texas and Oklahoma for New Mexico and Illinois.

Braid thumbed his nose at the Texas Heartbeat Law by admittedly selling an abortion to a young woman who was past six weeks of pregnancy. He was desperate to gain national attention and he did.

Now he’s moving to NM and IL and is actually asking pro-abortion supporters to give his for-profit corporation $2,000,000 via a GoFundMe campaign.

After the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, a local abortion provider is closing up their clinics and moving them across state lines.

“It’s bittersweet,” said Andrea Gallegos, the executive administrator at the clinic. “We have always been in the fight for both states, Texas and Oklahoma. We stayed open as long as we could.”
