SENATE REJECTS VAX MANDATE
The Senate voted 52-48 to repeal President Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for private businesses. Sens. Joe Manchin, D-WV, and Jon Tester, D-MT, joined all 50 Republicans in favor of the resolution. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-WV, said families consider the mandate “an invasion into their own abilities to make decisions about themselves in their health care.” If the bill passes the House, Biden is expected to veto the measure.
