TEXAS TO PRIORITIZE SCHOOL CHOICE

Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott on Monday called on the state’s legislature to allow families to put public education dollars toward schools of their choice, including private schools. “Empowering parents means giving them the choice to send their children to any public school, charter school, or private school with state funding following the student,” Abbott said.
