TOYOTA UNDER ATTACK
Toyota went viral over the weekend after progressive activist group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics reported the car manufacturer made large donations to Republican lawmakers who voted against certifying Joe Biden’s election as President in 2020.
Much of corporate America changed its political donations this year under pressure from the Left. Toyota did not follow suit. “Toyota supports candidates based on their position on issues that are important to the auto industry and the company,” a company spokesperson stated.
