Lawmaker Responds to ‘Drag Kids’ Event

Texas Republican State Rep. Bryan Slaton on Monday announced that he will be introducing legislation to protect children from being sexualized by drag shows. “The events of this past weekend were horrifying and show a disturbing trend in which perverted adults are obsessed with sexualizing young children,” Slaton said, responding to a “Drag the Kids to Pride” party that took place Saturday at a gay bar in Dallas.
