Texas to Implement School Security
Texas Governor Greg Abbott on Monday instructed security experts to begin providing Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) to school districts throughout the Lone Star State.
“We sadly recognize we cannot do anything to bring back the precious lives that were taken,” Abbott said, referencing the recent mass shooting in Uvalde, TX, “however, we must do everything in our power to prevent the same tragic ending from happening again.”
